With isolated floors, silenced ventilation, and guaranteed performance, the room's interior acoustics can be tuned using non-parallel walls, canted windows, bass traps and various wall treatments. Most studios are built inside an existing structure, which was constructed with no thought to noise isolation or acoustical performance.
